Taiko Update
A HUGE thanks goes to those who helped make taiko drums last Thursday and Friday after school.
9 have been made – 7 more to go. It would be great if they could be finished by the end of the term.
If you can help this week, we’ll be in the undercover area from 3pm Thursday 27th September.
TAIKO DRUM BUSY BEE: Thursday 20 Sep
Parents/Family Members: If you are able to lend some time to make taiko (Japanese style) drums this week, your assistance would be fantastic. Many hands make light work!
The drums will be made from plastic bins, material and tape. They can be constructed by two adults or an adult with a medium-sized child.
We’ll be doing this in the Music Room on Thursday 20 September from 3 – 3.45pm. If we don’t finish them in this time then we will continue on Friday 21 September at the same time.
All you need to bring is yourself. Snacks will be provided. Please forward this to anyone else you think may be able to lend a hand.
Thank you!
